เนื่องจากสมาร์ทโฟนบางรุ่นจะระบุค่าคุณสมบัติความทนทาน (Rugged) ไว้ เป็นค่า IPXX หรือบอกว่า กันน้ำ (water proof) และ กันฝุ่น (dust proof) หลายคนอาจสงสัยว่ามันหลายความว่าอย่างไร กันน้ำได้ระดับไหนกันฝุ่นได้ระดับไหน ทางทีมงาน ineedtoknow ได้รวบรวมข้อมูลและวิธีการอ่าน IP Code มาให้เพื่อนๆ ได้ศึกษากัน ตามนี้เลย
Water-resistant กับกันฝุ่น Dust resistant
IP (International Protection Marking) เป็นมาตรฐานสากลที่ทาง IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) ใช้กำหนดความสามารถในการป้องกันตัวของอุปกรณ์จากสิ่งแวดล้อมภายนอก เพื่อป้องกันวงจรภายในจากน้ำและของแข็ง ซึ่งในบางครั้งอาจจะสามารถป้องกันได้มากกว่าน้ำและของแข็ง
จากรูปที่ 1: IP Code
– เลข 6 คือค่าป้องกันของแข็ง ซึ่งสามารถอ่านได้จากตาราง 1 ว่ามีความสามารถป้องกันได้ขนาดไหน
– เลข 7 คือค่าป้องกันของแหลว ซึ่งสามารถอ่านได้จากตาราง 2 ว่ามีความสามารถป้องกันได้ขนาดไหน
ดังนั้น จากตาราง 1 และ 2 จะสรุปได้ว่า สมาร์ทโฟน สเปค IP67 มีความสามารถป้องกันฝุ่นได้อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ และสามารถจมน้ำได้สูงสุด 1 เมตร โดยไม่มีน้ำเข้าเลย
ข้อสังเกต:
– กันน้ำเขียนได้สองแบบคือ Waterproof กับ Water-resistant (ขึ้นอยู่กับตัวเลข)
– กันฝุ่นเขียนได้สองแบบคือ Dust Resistant กับ Dust Proof (ขึ้นอยู่กับตัวเลข)
